I know it's probably a mixed bag, but interested in your opinions. Just wonder what others thought about using the sim to gauge how various cars handle. The Saleen S7 is also very nice to drive in the sim. that thing is very fast and very controllable. The 360's and 430's are OK, but the other car I really like driving in the sim is the Corvette. Can't keep the various 911 versions on the dang track. ![]() I hadn't done any gaming on the PC for many years, until I saw this setup in action, now I can't get enough of it!įor those more savvy than I on GTR2: how realistic are the various car simulations? I've been driving the S1 Elise a lot (in the sim), and it feels pretty close to how my Fed 05 Elise feels at the track. and I finally found a use for my stock Elise seats (well, the passenger side anyway). I'm using the Logitech G25 wheel and pedals and my home-made frame (see pic). Finally, I can look to the apex in the sim, which makes all the difference for me. They have accelerometers and magnetics in them that track your head movements. ![]()
